We are back on the loop and headed to Canada again. This will be a long trip of about 80 miles. We generally cruise about 8-10 mph so it will be a 10 hour trip. It was raining as we left and the forecast was for more rain. We did most of the trip from the Pilot house. The radar looked like it could get really rough but it never got too bad. By the time we got to Trenton it was clear and hot.

We checked into Canada by telephone and were given a registration number for our boat. No sirens this time. As we get closer to Georgian Bay and North Channel the Loopers are bunching up. All the Loopers want to enjoy the short season in Canada. There are already 5 loopers there when we arrive. We all got together for drinks and stories at 5:30. The craziest thing seen by a looper was an elephant in the intercostal taking a bath, and the scariest was sinking a brand new boat and just having time to call the coast guard and put on life preservers.
