We left Saint Michael’s around 3 pm with Craig and Barbara on “Blue Heron” for a short trip (2 hrs) to Rock Hall. To get here we went through the Kent Narrows, which was a tight area that required coordination with the tides. The current was fast and we were there at almost high tide. We never saw less than 6 feet of water and we draw 4 feet. Rock Hall is a small town on the eastern shore of the Bay.

Good for an overnight stop on the free wall, with the bonus of tying up behind a barge loaded with a backhoe and dredge material. I figured that it would be running and loading trucks by 7am. They were right on time.
