As we picked out an anchorage I found Cow Pen Creek, Active Captain should it was near a marina with live music seven night a week. Friday night and live music living on the water. Too good to be true. Well at least on this night. The music was playing as we left the ICW into the creek. But when we went to anchor the Starboard engine controls failed. Now we had to get by with one engine., but the Stern thruster we added at Huckins really made maneuvering a lot easier. It works great with the bow thruster that came with the boat. We had lost controls in Jacksonville, but thought that when we tightened all the connections we had solved the problem. We spent the evening tightening connections then decided we would figure it out in the morning. We woke up in the fog, after it lifted we headed up the intracoastal on one engine.
